To All Parents, Teachers, and Staff of Heartland Academy

Heartland Academy is starting a new chapter in our ability to serve this community in a way you have grown accustomed to expect. We are making changes to help our students grow, give them a safe and comfortable learning environment where they can be themselves. A new director has been hired who is super enthusiastic and excited to be a part of Heartland Academy.  He has impeccable credentials and experience with our community of students.  Watch our webpage and Facebook page in the coming days.  We will soon be introducing him to our Heartland family.

We are working diligently to make this a smooth transition. Our transition team is full of extremely knowledgeable individuals that are very familiar with all aspects of running our program.  We are very fortunate to have so many business associates and friends in the special needs community!

We are also trying to get all the numbers together to see how much funding we have for a summer program and will let you all know the details as soon as we have them.  Please be patient with us as we sort through the options as this has all been a sudden change that has been thrust upon us.

I would ask all staff members who wish to remain employees at Heartland Academy to contact me as soon as possible so that we can add you to the list of office staff members we provide to the ODE.
